In Kitui County, Kenya, PULA—an agricultural insurance and technology company—works with smallholder farmers, most of them women, to address low productivity caused by traditional farming methods and climate change. Through innovative insurance and digital tools, the project helps farmers reduce risks, adopt improved practices, and increase their yields and incomes.
